Anna Johnstone

Founder and CEO, The Female Career

Anna is a true champion for women filling their potential. Having recently returned to Christchurch after 17 years overseas, Anna has worked in a diverse range of businesses and built a seriously impressive career. However, time and time again Anna observed countless women capping their own success – either by opting out of their careers, or through feeling pushed out by their organisations. And so, she decided to do something about it.

In the last six years, Anna has made it her mission to help women thrive, offering personal coaching and supporting organisations to improve their gender balance. She’s also the host of a top-ranking podcast, The Female Career, sharing the inspiring career stories of women of Aotearoa. In short, she believes gender balance at all levels in organisations is better for business and better for society – three cheers for that.
