Judy Millar

Judy Millar is a New Zealand born painter who now divides her time between studios in Berlin and on Auckland’s West Coast. She has exhibited extensively throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand with her work being held in major collections around the world. She was a senior lecturer in painting at The University of Auckland between 1999 and 2005. In 2009 she represented New Zealand at the Venice Biennale of Art. Earlier this year Kustmuseum St Gallen in Switzerland held the first major survey of her career showcasing more than 40 works produced between 1981 and 2018.
